Warranty Policy

Warranty Terms:

Warranty is valid from date of purchase, provided that the product has not been subject to abuse or misuse in its use or installation and has not been subject to modification or alteration. Products must be installed as supplied in matching sets and must be in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's instructions. All warranty claims require proof of purchase and must be approved by an authorized representative of Hartbrakes.com Inc. During exchange or warranty claims, Hartbrakes.com is not responsible or liable for any mechanical, installation, or storage fees. Hartbrakes.com may request warped or cracked rotor(s) to be sent back prior to processing a replacement. Shipping charges for warranty replacements or returns outside the continental USA will be the responsibility of the customer. Hartbrakes.com under no circumstance will pay for any shipping costs outside the Continental USA.

Brake Rotors

One year against warping and one year against cracking (rotor must be within its minimum thickness point).

Brake Pads

Limited 30-day warranty on manufacturer defects. This warranty does not apply to mileage, accidents, noise such as squealing and squeaking, abnormal operations, or improper installation or service. In no event will Hartbrakes.com be liable for incidental or consequential damages of any sort.

Manufacturer Defects

This covers any product that is compromised or weakened because of structural failure. Does not cover zinc plating, rusting, pitting or cosmetic damages, normal wear and tear or damage caused by negligence, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal operation, track racing, improper installation or service.

Warranty Claim for Warped Rotors:

A copy of a brake report from a licensed auto shop or dealership is needed in order to file a warranty claim for warped rotor(s). The report must indicate exactly which rotor or rotors are warped along with associated test results. Warranty claims for warped rotors are eligible for replacements only. No refunds can be issued. Only one claim is allowed per customer.

Warranty Claim for cracked Rotors:

We will require visual proof for all warranty claims concerning cracked rotors. We ask that you provide us with photos and have it sent via email to customersupport@hartbrakes.com.
